If you want to run more than one operating system on your PC, you can go for oracle VM Virtual Box.

After installing the VM, open the program. Now click on "NEW" option, a new window pops up, ask you to create a new virtual machine, fill name new OS, type and version in box, then click the NEXT button.
Next step, create a virtual hard drive, click on CREATE button. Next step, ask you the hard drive type, keep it as default, VDI.
In the next step, Storage on Physical drive, make it fixed size. In a next step locate file location where this hard disk will create and choose the minimum size of 20GB for the disk, by clicking CREATE button, a hard drive on desired location will create.
After creating hard disk, VM Manager pops up.Go to settings option, enter General setting according to the OS.
Now go to STORAGE option , choose EMPTY from Storage tree then choose virtual CD/DVD file that is downloaded Windows 8.1 Preview ISO file, click OK and then click the START button, Windows 8.1 setup now start running.
Complete the setup and enjoy with Windows 8.1 Preview.
