Windows 8 coolest feature is its Start Screen interface. Tiles that appear on the start screen, some are by default, some are created on the bases of the program installed on system and some are by user.
You can also create or pin your favorite folder of files on the Start screen in the form a tile.
Let's see how to create a SHUTDOWN Tile on Start Screen. It is a very simple process:
1. Go to desktop, right-click on any point of space of the desktop, choose New-> Shortcut from the menu panel.
2. A box named as Create shortcut, appears on screen now. It'll ask you about the location of item that you'll want to create shortcut for.
3. In writing space, type shutdown/p , and click on next button.
4. A shortcut of shutdown now appears on your desktop. Right-click on the icon and select pin-to-start to create a Shutdown tile on the start screen.
