Facebook has now introduced a new feature-Trusted contacts feature. The key behind this feature is to select some friends on Facebook that you trust so they help you to get back your account back, if is attacked.

Your trusted friends get code that you have to enter to gain the access to your account.

Let's see how to implement this feature:

Open the Account setting panel. Choose the option Security from the left-hand side menu panel. You'll find the option of Trusted contacts under security settings.

On clicking, a small description of the feature and options to choose trusted contacts from your friends list appears. Click on the Choose trusted contacts, a small overlay window open up that offers additional information about the new security feature. Now start adding friends between 3 to 5. You can see  your trusted contacts and also edit them at any time.

This is a very recent feature introduced by Facebook so you may have not the option yet to access it. To know more see the official Facebook blog page.
