Search engine giant Google now presents its new homegrown laptop-The chromebook Pixel. It is a powerful machine with impressive hardware.
The chromebook Pixel is powered by dual-core 1.8GHz Intel core i5 processor, 4GB of RAM with integrated Intel HD 4000 graphics. It has two USB 2.0 ports, a Mini DisplayPort, an SD Card slot and a combo 3.5mm headphone-microphone jack. There's also dual-band 802.11 a/b/g/n Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 3.0, add to that a 720p webcam coupled with dual microphones up top.
The chromebook pixel has new Gorilla Glass-covered multi touch screen of 12.85-inch and 2560 x 1700 panel. The screen contains 4.3 million pixels, is the highest resolution display put into a laptop, claim by Google. Battery capacity is of 59WHr.
The user interface of system only has a browser with media player and a file manager. All the documents and applications are stored on Cloud. In the Chromebook Pixel, the local storage has 32GB and 64GB SSD, however; consumers can get one terabyte of free cloud storage space with Google's Drive service for three years.
Google will launch the LTE model of the pixel in early April and will priced at USD 1,449.
