Now run Windows 8 Task Manager on Windows 7

Task Manager

If you want to use task manager of Windows 8 on your Windows 7, can be done by the use of DBCTaskman, a task manager replacement for the operating system, with the help of this you can use a copy of Windows 8 operating system on Windows 7.

When you open the task manager, you'll get a list of all running programs. When you right-click on any program, an option panel opens allowing you to end task, create dump file, go on file location and you can also search about the program online.

The performance tab in Task Manager shows information about CPU and memory usage, you need to click on an entry here to display detailed information.  You can use it to open the system resource monitor or services manager.

But, It lacks the option to make it the default task manager of the operating system.

Here are some tips to use DBCTaskman:

1. Download the 32-bit or 64-bit version of the task manager based on the operating system you are using.

2. You can change the update speed via the View menu. If it is causing too much load, change it to a slower update frequency.

3. Selecting properties from the context menu will remove the process name column from the application. You can bring it back by selecting properties again. This appears to be a bug.
